Each of Scotland’s many surviving castles is also a museum. Some of them might be called Haunted Museums. After all, every ancient castle is steeped in mystery, legend, events and the deaths of the people who once lived there. Stirling Castle, for example, is famous for the ghost of an unknown woman in a pink dress, believed to be Mary Stuart herself. And Inverary Castle is haunted by the ghosts of a little boy, the Grey Lady, a knight and even the ghost of an ancient boat sailing from the castle.
It’s almost impossible to list all the museums in Scotland. Tourists of all ages can find something to enjoy and learn from in this fascinating country.
